BP Pulse Prize Draw Full Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions apply to the BP Pulse Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”). These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating or by accepting the prize you will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.
1. The Promoter: Chargemaster Limited (trading as BP Pulse), Breckland, Linford Wood, Milton Keynes, MK14 6GY.
2. Eligibility: This prize promotion is open to UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry excluding employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, the Promoter’s agents, third parties or any other person professionally connected with the Promotion.
3. Promotional Period: The prize draw opens at 09:00 on 13th June 2022 and closes at 23:59 on 16th June 2022.
4. Internet access and either a Facebook or Instagram account required for entry. A Facebook account can be opened at www.Facebook.com, an Instagram account can be opened at Instagram.com. Entrants are reminded to get the owner’s permission before using a device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the entrant to enter the Promotion. The Promoter will not be liable for any internet or mobile connection or other charges incurred in entering the Promotion.
5. This prize promotion is promoted on Facebook and Instagram with one shared prize pool.
6. The entry instructions form part of the rules. By entering, you agree to accept and be bound by the rules.
7. Entry details To enter, you can:
a. Follow the BP Pulse page @bppulseuk on Facebook and leave a comment under the promotional post tagging a friend; AND / OR
b. Follow the BP Pulse page @bppulseuk on Instagram and leave a comment under the promotional post tagging a friend;
c. Entrants must follow the respective BP Pulse page on either Facebook or Instagram until 20th June 2022.
d. Only entries which complete all of the above actions will be eligible to win a prize.
e. Please note winners will be randomly selected, entries are not judged.
f. Only 1 entry per person per platform (a maximum of one entry via Facebook and a maximum of one entry via Instagram). If you enter more than once per platform your first entry on the respective platform will be accepted and all others will be disqualified. For the avoidance of doubt, a participant can use one Facebook account and/or one Instagram account to enter and can enter the prize promotion once on Facebook and once on Instagram.
g. No third party or bulk entries. If it becomes apparent that either a participant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, using multiple identities, multiple Facebook and/or Instagram accounts, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these entrants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.
h. Any entries that we consider (in our absolute discretion) to be in breach of any government COVID-19 guidelines/restrictions, political, dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, racist, copied, offensive, cruel or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be immediately disqualified. We will not tolerate anyone who posts or is seen to be posting comments via any social media channel or anywhere else during this Promotion that we think are bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other entrants and followers of BP Pulse or directly aimed at us. Anyone acting in this way will be disqualified from the Promotion.
8. Winner Selection: All entries received during the Promotional Period will be placed into a random prize draw conducted within 2 days of the closing date. The winners will be the first 25 entries randomly selected that meet the entry criteria.
9. Winner Notification: Winners will either be contacted via a Private Message or reply to their comment by @bppulseuk on Facebook (if they have entered via Facebook or via a Private Message by @bppulseuk on Instagram (if they have entered via Instagram) within 2 days of the closing date. Please check your Private Message inbox. Winners will have 48 hours to accept the prize. If a winner does not respond, contact cannot be made, or the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, despite multiple contact attempts, the prize will be redrawn and awarded to a new winner. Only a reply via Private Message from the same Facebook or Instagram account that we notify will be accepted.
10. It is the responsibility of the winners to provide their correct, up-to-date details at the time of acceptance in order for their prize to be processed. The Promoter is not responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery.
11. Prize Fund:
a. There are 25 prizes, each consisting of a pair of 1-day general admission tickets to Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place between 23rd June 2022-26th June 2022.
b. The ticket dates will be randomly allocated by the Promoter. Winners cannot choose the ticket date; there is no choice of day. c. Prize excludes meals, drinks, travel, accommodation, all other expenses. d. Should a winner’s guest be under 18, they may require parental/legal guardian permission to attend.
12. Maximum of one prize per person.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the winners and also ask for proof of identity and address and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions.
14. The prize must be accepted as offered by the named winners. There is no cash or alternative prize, in whole or part. The prize is not transferable. Sale of the prize for profit is prohibited and may constitute fraud.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value should circumstances outside its control make this necessary.
16. Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
17. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these terms and conditions or the spirit of the Promotion. Those who try and circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
18. Entry into the Promotion is at the entrant’s sole risk. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) suffered by entrants or any third parties arising out of or in connection with the Promotion and/or accepting the prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to entrants or any other person relating to or resulting from participation with this Promotion save that
nothing in these terms and conditions shall act to limit or exclude the Promoter’s liability resulting from its negligence or fraud. The Promoter will award the Prize as described in these Terms, but the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for the winners’ use of the Prize.
19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to, lost, delayed or not received entries, winner notification or prizing. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter or its agencies.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the Promoter.
21. Prize winners may be asked to take part in reasonable publicity without payment. Such publicity may include, without limitation, using the winners’ name and, if relevant, their image and any statements made by them concerning the promotion and the prize won. The Promoter will not use an entrant’s personal data for publicity purposes without the entrant’s consent.
22. The surname and county of the winners will be made available to anyone who requests this by emailing contact@pulsegiveaway.com within 1 month of the closing date. Entrants may request their surname and county is not published in the event they win by emailing contact@pulsegiveaway.com before the closing date. However, the Promoter shall provide the surname and county of the winners to competent authorities upon request from such competent authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority).
